Currently operating from a site in Horwich, the business requires a facility that better meets its production requirements and provides the capacity needed to play its part in delivering the regional target of 75,000 new homes per year.
Its new sizeable site at Oldham Broadway Business Park is circa 45,000 sq ft and is a modern detached warehouse with offices. The new operation will enable Mansell to service their current sites across Wigan, Manchester, Trafford, Salford & Stockport, and future sites within Greater Manchester quicker and easier.
Established in 1991, the second-generation family business is now owned and led by Angela and Stephanie Mansell and is the go-to specialist contractor for panelised construction and MMC in the North West of England.
Appointed on a number of frameworks, including Great Places Housing Group’s Innovation Chain North (ICN) and the OSHA (Off-Site Home Alliance), Mansell is in the line-up of consultants and contractors delivering new homes needed to meet the Government’s 1.5 million target.
