Na quinta -feira, 18 de julho, a equipe do centro da cidade teve o prazer de participar da vitrine de verão na maravilhosa Lucky Cat Manchester. Os grandes interiores do local não apenas prestam homenagem à história fascinante do edifício, mas também o infundem com caráter cativante. Experiência de refeições inesquecíveis para todos. Quando entramos no local, fomos recebidos com prosecco e vinho de cortesia na bela área de mezzanino e bar. A grandeza da sala, emoldurada pelas dramáticas janelas arqueadas de Art Deco, deu o tom perfeito para a noite. A equipe do centro da cidade recebeu um entretenimento ao vivo, cortesia do premiado mago profissional Scott Perry, que fez as rodadas das mesas e nos surpreendeu, transformando uma nota de papel para dinheiro real diante de nossos olhos! E mesmo um DJ ao vivo no final da noite. Este fabuloso menu de degustação incentivou uma experiência de refeição comunitária, pois compartilhamos uma variedade de pratos. Do delicado sushi a alguns pratos fabulosos de frango e salmão, cada prato era uma prova do compromisso do restaurante com a excelência e o menu fantástico de Gordon Ramsey - complementa o chef! Esta sala, transformada de um dos cofres do banco original, assenta até 12 convidados e possui seu próprio bar privado. Com iluminação sob medida e paredes impressionantes com os cofres originais do banco, alguns dos quais ainda não podem ser abertos, o cofre forneceu um cenário fantástico para algumas degustação de vinho japonesa de arroz! Conhecido como saquê, o vinho é feito com arroz fermentado e oferece um sabor frutado mais doce. Conseguimos compartilhar uma sessão de degustação com três sabores distintos de saquê distintos diferentes. A atmosfera era animada, com um verdadeiro zumbido das vibrações únicas dos edifícios, aumentando o processo, pois os hóspedes desfrutavam de um fluxo contínuo de vinhos fabulosos e prosecco, com curadoria para complementar a comida. A capacidade do local de honrar suas raízes históricas, oferecendo uma experiência gastronômica moderna e luxuosa, a torna um local verdadeiramente único e fascinante. A noite foi certamente uma vitrine perfeita da atmosfera vibrante do Lucky Cat e da hospitalidade fantástica e tudo o que tem a oferecer a Manchester como local.
Aiming to emulate the lively ambience of 1930s Tokyo kissas and drinking dens with an array of delectable Asian-inspired small plates, Robata grilled dishes, sushi, sashimi, and extraordinary cocktails, Lucky Cat promises an unforgettable dining experience for all.
The Downtown team was welcomed with exceptional hospitality, a hallmark of the Lucky Cat experience! As we entered the venue, we were greeted with complimentary prosecco and wine in the beautiful mezzanine and bar area.
The transformation of the venue from a historic bank to a chic dining destination is fascinating to see. The grandeur of the room, framed by dramatic Art Deco arched windows, set the perfect tone for the evening.
It wouldn’t be the full lucky cat experience without dinner and a show! The Downtown team were treated to some live entertainment courtesy of award-winning professional magician Scott Perry who made the rounds of the tables and blew us away by turning a paper note in to real cash before our eyes! And even a live DJ later in the evening.
But the highlight of the night had to be the incredible array of dishes from the unique Lucky Cat menu we were treated to that showcased the culinary prowess of the Lucky Cat kitchen. This fabulous tasting menu encouraged a communal dining experience, as we shared a variety of dishes. From delicate sushi to some fabulous grilled chicken and salmon dishes, each plate was a testament to the restaurant’s commitment to excellence and Gordon Ramsey’s fantastic menu – complements to the chef!
Our experience then continued in The Vault, one of the world’s most unique private dining spaces. This room, transformed from one of the original bank vaults, seats up to 12 guests and boasts its own private bar. With bespoke lighting and impressive walls featuring the bank’s original safes, some of which still can’t be opened, The Vault provided a fantastic setting for some Japanese rice wine tasting! Known as Sake, the wine is made using fermented rice, and offers a sweeter fruity flavour. We were able to share in a tasting session featuring three different distinctive Sake flavours.
After this we returned to the main dining area, the perfect spot for elegant parties and events. The atmosphere was lively, with a real buzz from the buildings unique vibes adding to proceedings as guests enjoyed a continuous flow of fabulous wines and prosecco, curated to complement the food.
The Downtown team was thoroughly impressed by the seamless blend of traditional and contemporary elements at Lucky Cat Manchester. The venue’s ability to honour its historic roots while offering a modern and luxurious dining experience makes it a truly unique and fascinating venue. The evening was certainly a perfect showcase of Lucky Cat’s vibrant atmosphere and fantastic hospitality and all it has to offer to Manchester as a venue.
