Downtown in Business estará hospedando outra de nossa série de eventos de almoço de líderes exclusivos na quinta -feira, 14 de novembro, onde nos juntaremos a Cllr Carl Cashman, líder do Liberal Democrat Group em Liverats City Council e Lord Mike Storey, Lib Council Anterior líder de 1998 a 2006. Carl Cashman, agora, orgulhosamente representa a enfermaria da igreja em Wavertree, vencendo com mais de 50% dos votos em um primeiro ganho de Lib Dem em um assento de Wavertree por mais de 13 anos. From Mortgage Broker to leader of the Liberal Democrats political group in Liverpool City Council, Cllr Carl Cashman, now, proudly represents Church ward in Wavertree, winning with over 50% of the vote in a first Lib Dem gain in a Wavertree seat for over 13 years. Carl will be discussing his time within politics and the latest updates from the Liberal Democrats activity within the Liverpool City Region.
Our special guest alongside Carl, will be Lord Mike Storey, previous Lib Dem council leader in Liverpool between 1998 and 2006, now an active member of the House of Lords. Lord Mike Storey will be discussing his reign in the Liberal Democrat Party and the challenges he faced.
DIB Group chairman and CEO Frank McKenna will be talking to the LIB Dem leaders about the city’s regeneration during Storey’s reign, their hopes for the future of Liverpool, and their party’s recent success at the General Election.
