O evento deste ano não foi exceção, com algumas empresas e indivíduos verdadeiramente inspiradores reconhecidos no que foi uma noite fantástica de celebração! Mayall de Muse e Deloitte, que ganhou o prêmio e os negócios do executivo -chefe, respectivamente. Held at the brilliant Lowry Hotel, this exclusive gathering attracted professionals, business owners and industry experts who joined us to celebrate the many achievements of the fantastic individuals and businesses making a difference in the Manchester City region.
The City of Manchester Business Awards were first hosted by DIB in 2011 to recognise companies and entrepreneurs that have made a successful and significant contribution to economic growth in the city region. This years event was no exception with some truly inspirational companies and individuals recognised at what was a fantastic night of celebration!
Over 250 of the city’s leading business personalities gathered at The Lowry Hotel to celebrate the achievements of the city’s business community.
We were lucky enough to have the one and only Lucy Meacock join us to help present the awards.
Winners on the evening included, Phil Mayall from Muse and Deloitte, who won the Chief Executive’s Award and Business of the Year respectively.
Mike Emmerich from Metro Dynamics took home the Tony Award, named in honour of the late great Tony Wilson, after a few words from Downtown CEO and Group Chairman, Frank McKenna on his impact and legacy on the city of Manchester.
There was also a tribute and a round of applause for the late Howard Bernstein who will live on in so many of our memories.
Fazenda had the Chair’s Award 2024 presented to them by Downtown Manchester Chair, Thom Hetherington.
Frank McKenna commented; “Once again the business community in Manchester has gathered to celebrate the fantastic achievements of some of the leading businesses and business personalities from the city.
“Manchester continues to go from strength to strength and tonight’s awards outlined that, by not only the winners in the room, but also the calibre of the nominees.
