Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks will operate scheduled services and dedicated trips to Gdansk from Birmingham Airport from 29th November to 23rd December 2024. Two weekly services (Monday and Friday) will operate from the airport during this time, giving customers and independent travel agents plenty of choice and flexibility when it comes to enjoying an authentic festive experience over the Christmas season to the Polish city.
The Gdansk Christmas Market is considered one of the most beautiful Christmas Markets in Europe, and from November the Targ Węglowy area transforms into a winter wonderland with fairy tale illuminations, fairground attractions, a food zone, handmade gifts and local delicacies, and live artistic events. With a short flight time of just over two hours, the compact city, which was voted the 2nd best Christmas Market destination in Europe*, offers a picturesque and historic festive experience. The airline and tour operator’s Christmas Markets programme from Birmingham Airport for next winter is their biggest to date, with more choice and destinations on sale than ever before.
This latest announcement comes just weeks after Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks put additional services on sale to Budapest and brought forward the start of the season to Cologne by introducing more flights and city breaks to the festive favourite.
When travelling to Gdansk for a Christmas Market break, customers can choose from a flight-only option with leading leisure airline, Jet2.com, or an ATOL protected package holiday with Jet2CityBreaks available for a low £60 per person deposit.
